Wine Club Subscriptions & Wine Purchases
What will I receive in my Wine Club subscription?
Our wine subscriptions have been designed for wine lovers who enjoy regular wine deliveries. Reserve your delivery through the following schedule: monthly, every second month or every third month. You will have an option to choose a choice between red, white, or mixed packages. Depending on your selection, you will receive premium wines, which are general regional style varieties to classic wines, containing everyday value styles. You will also receive something special on your first purchase, and ongoing bonus extras + reward points, depending on the current promotional schedule.
How does the Wine Club subscription work?
Depending on your subscription schdule, you’ll receive a variety of delicious wines to your door. Once you have selected and paid for your subscription fee, your order will be packed and delivered to your address. On or around the same date of every month, second month or third month, your subscription fee will be deducted from your nominated account, then your subscription will be packed and delivered to your address.
Who can make purchases at The Good Wine Club?
You must be 18 year or over to purchase liquor from our website. You must provide your full name and date of birth. We have an aged verification process to ensure deliveries are complaint with local liquor laws – it is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to or obtain alcohol for anyone under 18.
What type of wines do you sell?
We sell local wines from Australian producers. We believe in stocking quality wines from unique and interesting winemakers across the country. We currently do not stock an international range.
How much are delivery fees?
You will receive FREE DELIVERY, if you spend $299 or more. Delivery and shipping costs to metropolitan areas start at $10.99 to $24.99 for country and regional deliveries. You will be provided a summary of delivery costs at check out. Alternatively, please see ‘Delivery & Billing Information’ for a breakdown.
How can I use my rewards points?
You accrue reward points through Wine Club subscription purchases. Reward points can be redeemed though cash discounts on orders.
Can I change the frequency or preferences of my subscription?
Yes, you can! Contact our customer service team for help, or update your subscription mannually when you log into your online account.
When will my order be delivered?
Most orders to metropolitan areas will be received within 1 – 5 working days from the date your monthly subscription fee is processed. For every other order, expect your delivery to come within 5 – 12 working days. We endeavour to deliver your order as soon as practically possible however, due to COVID-19 and imposing government restrictions, there may be a slight delay in your deliver. Thank you for your patience at this time.
Can I unsubscribe to telemarketing campaigns?
From time to time, we come across products we know our valued clientele would appreciate and enjoy. Due to the fast-moving nature of these products, we may advertise direct to our Wine Club subscribers, and Platinum Wine Program holders before they are even published on our website. If wish not receive calls of this nature, please contact our customer service team and we shall update your preferences accordingly.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver across most parts of Australia however, we do not deliver to alcohol free areas, dry zones, or government restricted areas.
Unfortunately, we do not deliver to the Northern Territory and external territories, however we are working on a solution to service this state.
Do you deliver to the Northern Territory?
Unfortunately, due to minimum floor price legislation, we are currently not delivering to the Northern Territory however, we are working on a solution.
How does the Satisfaction Promise work?
If you’re unsatisfied with a bottle you’ve receive in your subscription, we will provide you with a replacement, for the same value, on your next order. Some rules apply.
Do I have to create an account to make a liquor purchase?
Yes, you will need to create an account to make liquor related purchases, you will need to provide your date of birth, your full name and address. All of your orders will be made available to you in your account and you will receive rewards points for each purchase.
Do you sell gift cards for liquor purchases?
We currently do not have gifts cards available for liquor purchases however, this is something we will be implementing in the future.
Can I cancel my Wine Club subscription?
You may absolutely cancel or pause your subscription at any time. Simply log into your account and make your desired changes. Alternately, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone our customer service team 1300 18 17 08.
BOOK + WINE CLUB SUBSCRIPTIONS
What is the Book + Wine Club?
The Good Wine Club’s Book + Wine Club is Australia’s only book and wine club! Every month, every second month, or every third month you will receive a book and a bottle of wine. Turn off the tech and plug into an interesting book and a sensational drop – the perfect cure for quarantine blues.
Why the Book + Wine Club?
The question is why not? Curling up on the couch with a thought-provoking book and a delicious drop of wine is a great way to spend a quite evening after a long day. The Book + Wine Club was designed to be a ritual where by our community of subscribers disconnect from the tech and unwind through the power of storytelling and quality Australian wine.
What type of wine will I receive?
You will receive a two bottles of wine from your choice between red or white. We don’t follow a set variety schedule and we like to keep things interesting – that’s the point of the club! This way, you get to discover something new every month!
What type of book will I receive?
We have a selection of three categories you can choose from: fiction, non-fiction, and self-help/advice. Simply choose your preference – book category and wine type.
What happens if I have the same book already?
Every month you will receive something different but, in the event, you have the same book at home, we will send you an email before the next month’s title is released advising you of the coming month’s book. If you happen to have the same book shoot our customer service team an email and we will swap it out or find another solution for you.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription by logging into your online account and updating your preference at any time. No cancellation fees apply – ever! Alternatively, contact our customer service team via email.
Does the Satisfaction Promise apply to the Book + Wine Club?
Unfortunately, the Satisfaction Promise only applies to Wine Cub subscribers at this point. In the unlikely event you have any wine issues, please contact our customer service team via email.
Can I compare book notes?
Yes, you may compare book notes by reviewing your book on the subscription product page. We are the process of building a community platform to share notes in a forum setting.
Who can join the Book + Wine Club?
Everyone and anyone over the age of 18 and over! We are a super inclusive community – male, female, young adults to mature aged! You can enjoy your subscription on your own, or you can sign up with a group of friends. You don’t necessarily have to be a book worm or a massive reader, we have flexible packages to suit everyone’s taste so, explore our range.
Platinum Wine Program
What is the Platinum Wine Program?
The Platinum Wine Program has been designed to help customers get more out of their subscription. By paying a yearly fee, you are entitled to FREE DELIVERY on all wine club subscriptions within metropolitan areas, or $10.99 off delivery fees for orders delivered outside metropolitan areas.
You will also receive 5% off all purchases, 500 rewards points and access to ongoing exclusive offers and deals.
How much does the Platinum Wine Program cost?
The cost of the program is $99 per year.
When does the Platinum Wine Program expire?
The program runs on a year to year basis, starts on the date you pay for the program and finishes on the same date the following year.
Is the Platinum Wine Program fee refundable?
Platinum Wine Program fee is non-refundable at any time.
Earning & Spending Reward Points
How do I earn reward points?
You can simply earn reward points by making purchases on any products sitewide. With each dollar you spend with us on product, you will be rewarded a reward point.
How can I spend reward points?
Your reward points can be used redeem discounts on purchases you make through the store. When checking out, you will be asked if you would like to use your point – you can apply your reward points as a cash discounts or keep it on your account for another purchase.
How much are my reward points worth?
When you earn 200 Reward Points, this is the equivalent to a $4.90 cash discount on products purchases.
Do I receive points on my Birthday or any other occasion?
Yes, you sure do! As a Happy Birthday to you, you will receive a 500 reward points on your birthday. We also reward members with random points from time to time or when they write reviews on our website for products they have purchased, so be on the lookout and contribute when you can!
Can I redeem reward point for cash?
Reward points can only be applied for discounts on products you purchase and cannot be redeemed as cash.
When will my gift shop order arrive?
Once you have placed your order, your gift shop purchase will be packaged and delivered to your nominated address within 3 – 12 working days.
We endeavour to deliver your order as soon as practically possible however, due to COVID-19 and imposing government restrictions, there may be a slight delay in your delivery. Thank you for your patience at this time.
What type of products can I find on the gift shop?
You can find a range of fabulous household and wine related accessories. We source a variety of products from premium suppliers with artisan products.
Can I return or refund products I have purchased on the gift shop?
We may provide you a replacement, credit note, refund or, accept a return on a gift shop item. We generally don’t accept returns on a ‘change of mind’ basis however, we may at our sole discretion. We have stringent quality assurance procedure in place to ensure your order is delivered without any faults however, if your item is damaged or faulty, please contact our customer service via email on email@example.com.
Can I redeem my reward points on purchases in the gift shop?
Absolutely, you may choose to spend your reward points in our gifts shop as a cash amount off purchases. Simply log into your account and apply discount at check out.
How much is delivery?
You will receive FREE DELIVERY, if you spend $299 or more. Most orders delivery to metropolitan areas will charged at $10.99. Delivery fees for gift shop purchases start from $10.99 to $24.99 depending on the weight and delivery location of your order. Fee shall be calculated at check out.
Do you sell gift cards for the gift store?
Yes, we certainly do sell gift cards, you will find this feature in the gift shop.
Where do you deliver to?
We are happy to offer delivery on gift shop products right around Australia exlcuding the Northern Territory.
Who can purchase products in gift shop?
Anybody from any age group can purchase non-liquor products from our gift shop for themselves, or as a gift for family or friends. To purchase any liquor products, you must be 18 years of age or older and you must provide your date of birth upon purchase.
Do I need to create an account to purchase through the gifts shop?
Yes, you will need to create an account to make purchases through our gift shop, you will need to provide your date of birth, your full name and address. If you are under the age of 18 you can purchase non-liquor related items however, our primary offering is liquor sales, and we need know verify who are marketing and selling our products to, as it is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to or obtain alcohol for anyone under 18.
Do you provide gift wrapping?
We may provide gift wrapping on a seasonal basis such as Christmas. If available, a gift-wrapping option will be presented to you at check out. Please note that gift wrapping on purchases, and additional gift cards may come extra cost, if you wish to proceed.
Do you offer price match guarantee on products in the gift shop?
Our gift shop items are competitively yet reasonably priced and as such, we don’t offer price matching guarantees. You are more than welcomed to provide us with your feedback by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I cancel or amend my order?
We will try to accommodate cancellation requests if the order has not been processed by our warehousing team. You can request to cancel an order by contacting our customer service team via email.
