Grapes from winery

Angove Family Winemakers was founded by Dr William Thomas Angove in South Australia in 1886. After emigrating from England, he established a local medical practice in Tea Tree Gully. Looking for tonic to help his patients, Dr. Angove discovered winemaking. His craft soon turned into a hobby and later transformed into a successful business. His winemaking legacy has been passed onto five generations and still today, the brand is jointly managed by the family. Maintaining relevance over the years, the Angove family are committed to innovation as each generation continues to adapt to the market with new and exciting products, from St Agnes Brandy to cask wine (first invented by Thomas Angove) and in most recent times, certified organic wine.
